The house is surrounded by extensive Travertine terracing at many levels and by walls of local stone whose hardness is softened by verdant and aromatic plantings. The 15m by 7m pool is without doubt the best private pool in the area and the focal point of the house and gardens. All kinds of exotic and more common trees and plants are to be found in the landscaped gardens which surround the house.
